Space challenge by Joan Lennon

Now that the holidays are here, I’ve got a summer challenge for you – can you write a story in a week?  A story that has something to do with space?

Planetary Nebula NGC 2818, Hubble Space Telescope

I just came across this – The HG Wells Short Story Competition – and it sounds like so much fun!  There’s no entry fee for under 21-year-olds, a fabulous prize and the chance for all the shortlisted stories to be published in an anthology.  But you’ll have to get your jet-pack on – the deadline is midnight on Tuesday 19 July.

Get writing and Good Luck!  (And let us know how you get on.)

(That fabulous photo is from the NASA Hubble Space Telescope (shown on Wikipedia) – I love it!)
