Then the unexpected happened. I fell down a rabbit hole. I really did.
When I climbed out I was in Cornwall with four magical friends called The Seal Sisters. We talked, sunbathed, swam, ate crab sandwiches, and talked a lot about food and writing. I sat in the sun and rested my eyes. I have been glaring at a computer screen for too long. I spent a whole afternoon staring at Port Isaac harbour instead. It was wonderful!
When I got home I became a bit mad hatter-ish.
I spent a day typing up health plans for children. Then today I had a creative writing session at The Wallace Collection with Stepney Green School. They did some amazing writing. No time to stop and think for it was time to go the Queen’s Gallery where Joe Coelho and I were running book group sessions.
So I cannot write about the temptation to do ‘good’. I have been too ‘bad’. Perhaps next time.
