New changes at GHB!

Happy New Year, y’all! I don’t post much on GHB these days cos I’m too busy running it behind the scenes (yes, I am the POWER BEHIND THE THRONE. Or behind the screen. Or behind the chocolate biscuit. Er. Did I just type that out loud?) but I’m posting today because there’s a gap in the schedule and I wanted to let you know about some exciting changes ahead!

So firstly, we’re saying a very sad farewell to the following bloggers: Cavan Scott, Rhian Ivory, Luisa Plaja (who has been with us since the BEGINNING, May 2011!! THANK YOU, Luisa, for your SIXTY-FIVE posts!!), Heather Butler, Deirdre Sullivan, Jenny Smith and Paula Harrison. A huge thank you to all of you for your inspiring, witty, silly, thought-provoking and beautiful blog posts.

And WELCOME to our new bloggers: Lucy Strange (making a welcome return!), Swapna Haddow, Val Wilding, Dawn McNiff, E R Murray, Ruth Fitzgerald and Perdita Cargill! We hope you like being part of the GHB family and we look forward to hearing from you all!

In the meantime, you might notice the site going a bit ‘different’ over the coming weeks. We’re going to try out some new templates because we like a bit of a change now and then and we think the way the site looks could be improved. Don’t be alarmed if it changes around a bit before we settle on our makeover choice! And if you have any suggestions or feedback on the look of the site, do let us know!

Love to all, Jo x

  1. Oooh, very exciting to see lovely ladies I know in the real world coming on board – massive snogs to Lucy and Perdita. Equally lovely to welcome Twitter friends – slightly smaller snogs to Swapna, Dawn, Ruth and Ms Murray in case you don’t like that sort of thing. And hello and welcome to the charming new people – Heather, Val.

  2. I’m sad that people are leaving, but also EXCITED that people are coming on here! E.R Murray is a WONDERFUL person, I talk to her on Twitter and I’m SO excited that she is going to start Blogging here! (YAY!! πŸ˜€ )
