Girls writing their own book! Cotton Can – a story of Being Different

We love it at GHB Towers when we hear from readers who’ve written their own stories, and we were blown away when we were contacted through our Facebook page by Eleanor. Her three daughters, aged 5, 6 and 8, have written their very own story to promote understanding of what it’s like to be or feel different. You can read the whole story (and see the awesome pictures!) at COTTON CAN, but here’s a snippet below. It’s a great idea – because we ALL feel different sometimes, and it can be hard to know how to fit in, so stories that encourage us to feel better about ourselves are SO important.Congratulations, girls, we think it’s BRILLIANT!

Who knows, maybe you guys will be the next Mina May?! Don’t forget to catch our GHB contributor and the youngest professional illustrator in the world on Newsround today at 4.20pm!
