Holiday Highlights
Five Things I Did in the Christmas Holidays
- I ate lovely seasonal food. I didn’t eat many mince pies, but that’s OK because I don’t really like them. However, I did eat lots of sprouts, which I do like. (I know, I know…)

pies
- I woke up freakishly early on Christmas Day. Or rather, I was woken up by small, happy voices playing ‘guess the present’. Would I have it any other way? Noooo! Zzzzz.

presents
- I watched Doctor Who. Scary snowmen, an icy governess, Madame Vastra, loads of intrigue… Great!

programmes
- I went to see a panto, and a fantastic play about smelly things, complete with a ‘whiffy workshop’ and bath-bomb making with Lush, one of my favourite shops.

products (from Lush)
- I read lots of brilliant books. Here’s one of them:

planets (shrunken)
Shrunk by F. R. Hitchcock – the utterly fab story of a boy who finds he can shrink things, including planets and bullies. The author is writing a sequel and you can help her shape the story by joining The Story Adventure here. Highly recommended!
I hope you all had a wonderful time! Please tell me one of your highlights…

Hi there Luisa!
I watched Dr Who as well! YAY! I’m not the only one who watched it!!
It was BRILL Wasn’t it?!
On Boxing Day I went to HMV and got the 2010 and 2011 Christmas ones too! I’ve now watched ALL of the 11th Doctors Christmassy ones and I LOVE them all!
I’ve got the one with Donna and the 10th Doctor too. That ones cool too! Those are the only Christmas ones I’ve got.
I got the 7th season on Boxset for Christmas! I LOVE it!
I watch Doctor Who, ALL. THE.TIME.
I’m not ashamed to say, I’m HOOKED.
Yay! So brilliant to hear this.
Have you ever seen Susie Day’s gingerbread Doctor Who? Best thing ever: http://www.susieday.com/bake-a-boy-gallery/gingerbread-who/
I watched the Doctor Who episode too. I miss Rory & Amy but it was good. Put me off building snowmen ever again!!!
My highlight was seeing my mum’s reaction to her present. I bought her tickets to go to the Harry Potter Studio Tour. It was a complete surprise but she had been wanting to go since they opened last April (I went with a friend then but she couldn’t come, so I always wanted to surprise her some time and this was the perfect opportunity). She was so excited and happy. Made my heart flutter. Glad I could make her so happy. We went yesterday and she really loved it, we had a great day.
Happy New Year to everyone on Girls <3 Books. (i know it's a bit late, but never mind)
Oh, so lovely to hear your highlight. Brilliant! So glad you both had a great day.
